Indian Journalist Association® National President Seraj Ahmad Quraishi was given a grand welcome at the Jamshedpur District Office by the organization's officials and fellow journalists. The program began with a bouquet of flowers and the organization's robe of honor. An atmosphere of excitement prevailed throughout the campus upon the arrival of the National President.

Addressing the program, National President Seraj Ahmad Quraishi said that today's times are challenging for journalism, but in these times, strong and impartial journalists prove to be the biggest pillars of society. He said that journalism is not just about writing news, but also about protecting democracy and bringing public interest issues to the government and administration.
He explained that many journalists today face economic, social, and security-related crises. Therefore, the Indian Journalists Association aims to take concrete steps to protect the rights of journalists across the country, provide training, legal assistance, and strengthen the organization. He added that the Indian Journalists Association is continuously working to create platforms that provide training on modern technology, digital journalism, and media ethics to new and young journalists.
Members took a new pledge. Following the National President's address, all members present pledged to bring positive change to the field of journalism and pledged to continue to adhere to the principles of fearless, impartial, and truthful journalism.
On this occasion, key officials present at the event also expressed their views and called for working together to strengthen the organization and protect the interests of journalists.
