Parliamentary Committee to Visit Samravta Village

Deliberation on Tribal Community Issues

Jaipur. The All India Tribal Development Council, Rajasthan, organized a grand celebration on the occasion of International Tribal Day along with a Talent Felicitation Ceremony. The chief guests of the program were National President Somjibhai Damor and former minister as well as Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee, Faggan Singh Kulaste. Among the distinguished guests were Sanwarmal Jharwal, National Advisor of the Council; National Vice President Shankar Lal Badaut; Thanagazi MLA Kantilal Meena; former MLA and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Ramnarayan Meena; Bhagwana Ram Saini; and IPS officer Prahlad Rai Meena. The event also witnessed the presence of retired IRS officer and social worker Manoj Ghumaria, Millat Trust Chairman Hafiz Manzoor Ali Khan, and Indraj Meghwal as special guests. The ceremony was presided over by retired Principal Director General and State President K.C. Ghumaria. At the function organized in Neem Ka Thana, the third edition of the council’s annual magazine “Voice of Tribals” was released. A large number of participants attended the program, including senior workers from the Meena community and other communities, talented students, women warriors, thinkers, writers, poets, and artists. The event featured discussions on tribal issues and their solutions, with detailed deliberations on the Forest Rights Act, PESA Act, and rights over water, forests, and land. State President K.C. Ghumaria urged the community to focus more on education.

Talents Honored with Birsa Munda Award

During the ceremony, Ghumaria raised the issue of the Samravta incident in the Uniara-Deoli Assembly constituency before Parliamentary Committee Chairman Faggan Singh Kulaste, demanding a committee visit to Samravta village. Chairman Kulaste responded positively and assured to visit Samravta. Hundreds of meritorious students were honored with the Birsa Munda Award at the event. The vision, planning, and execution of the program were carried out under the leadership of State President K.C. Ghumaria, with the full support of both the male and female executive committees. Social worker Manoj Ghumaria extended a vote of thanks to all the dignitaries and participants.
