The organisational meeting of Nawada unit of Indian Journalist Association, an organisation constantly fighting for the protection of journalist interests in the country, was held at the Press Club in the city under the chairmanship of senior journalist and advocate Sanjay Suman. Rakesh Roshan was unanimously elected as the District President of Indian Journalist Association Nawada unit. In the meeting, Sanjay Suman said that journalists need to focus on integrity and positive journalism to protect journalist interests and the challenge of journalism in the current environment. He said that every word has its own form, hence journalists need to pay special attention to the selection of words. Sharing his experience, he gave the basic mantra of success in journalism. Senior journalist Ajay Kumar Singh, who was present in the meeting, said that in the present changing environment, there is a need to train journalists by organising workshops from time to time for media personnel. He said that the language style of journalists should be simple and mature. Understanding the nuances of investigative journalism and journalism, he stressed on ground level journalism and said that news should be published with facts without any hesitation. Senior journalist and editor of Nawada Live Varunendra Kumar said that in this era of social media, there is a need to be cautious. He stressed on creating a fund to help journalists in problems and accidental accidents.

The organization's president Rakesh Roshan said that our organization will always be ready to protect the interests of journalists. We will also help and support journalists without any discrimination. In the meeting, dozens of journalists from different blocks of the district also took a pledge to follow the journalistic duty with honesty. Dozens of journalists including journalists Mithilesh Kumar, Sultan Akhtar, Dharmendra Kumar Nikku, Chandan Kumar, Rajneesh Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Santosh Kumar, Narendra Singh, Krishna Kumar Chanchal, Awadh Bharti, Pradeep Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Ghulam Gaus were present on the occasion.
