Journalists were honored by giving citations at the Journalist Samman ceremony.

Meeting and journalist honor ceremony was held under the aegis of Indian Journalist Association Maharajganj unit at Nagar Panchayat Partawal St. Thomas Junior High School in Maharajganj district. The chief guest of the ceremony was the national president of the organization Seraj Ahmed Qureshi, special guest Kashinath Singh, ex-MP representative and Anoop Srivastava district patron, the program was presided over by district president Ramchandra Rawat and district general secretary Navneet Tripathi.

 Addressing the Indian Journalist Association meeting and journalist honor ceremony, National President Seraj Ahmad Quraishi said that the organization is determined to fight for the interests of journalists. The organization has always been working with alacrity to raise every problem of journalists. Special Guest Kashinath Singh said that journalists should publish news in a fair and fearless manner. So that the dignity of journalism remains.

In this sequence, District President Ramchandra Rawat said that all of us should make efforts for the expansion of the organization. Addressing the present journalists, General Secretary Navneet Tripathi said that harassment of journalists will not be tolerated at all. The organization will fight for journalists from the road to the house.
