Allegation of One-Sided Action on Baseless Complaints

Jaipur. KC Ghumaria, Rajasthan State President of the All India Adivasi Development Council and former IRS officer, launched a sharp attack on the ruling party over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). Ghumaria alleged that the BJP is looting votes in Rajasthan. He said that the issue of vote theft has now become clear even to the common people. According to him, the ruling party is politicizing the SIR process. Ghumaria claimed that even living voters are being declared dead and their names are being removed from the voter list. He alleged that the administration is taking one-sided action based on unnecessary complaints. People who have been living for years in their legally purchased houses are also being removed from the electoral rolls in the name of migration. In a statement issued here today, Ghumaria said that BJP leaders brought pre-filled forms in Rajasthan, through which these irregularities came to light. He demanded that the Supreme Court and the Election Commission conduct a forensic examination of all these forms to determine where they were printed and who distributed them at the ground level. Once this is investigated, the truth will come out clearly, he said.

Forensic Examination of Forms Must Be Conducted: Ghumaria

He further alleged that all these forms were printed at a centralized location and then transported to Jaipur. From Jaipur, through MLAs, MLA candidates, and five ministers, these forms were allegedly delivered inside SDM offices. Ghumaria said an investigation is necessary to identify where these printed forms originated from and who supplied them. A forensic probe should be conducted in every location.

Case Should Be Registered in SIR Irregularities

Ghumaria said, I want to tell the BJP that if you are destroying democracy in this manner, then what is the need to pretend to hold elections at all? You might as well declare yourselves elected. You are cutting the votes of poor people and snatching away their power. He demanded that a case be registered over the alleged irregularities in the SIR process.
