The 73rd Constitution Day and felicitation ceremony was celebrated with great pomp and show under the auspices of The Buddhist Society of India Gorakhpur Mandal branch.
On Constitution Day, the Buddhist Society of India honored those who have made outstanding contributions to the society.

The 73rd 'Constitution Day' and felicitation ceremony was presided over by Rev. Lal Bahadur Gautam and conducted by Dr. Om Prakash Rao under the auspices of The Buddhist Society of India Gorakhpur Mandal branch at Celebration Marriage Lawn near Gulharia police station, Gorakhpur.
First, Chief Guest Honorable Lalmani Prasad - Former MP/MLA/Minister, Key Speaker Dr. Satyajit Chandrikapure Joint Incharge and National Secretary BSI and Special Guest Arez MP Buddhist National Organization - BSI, Seraj Ahmad Quraishi National President Indian Journalist Association, Prof. R. D. Yadav, Rammilan Sharma, Chandrika Prasad Bharti Advocate, State Office Secretary, Harishchandra Former CDO, Dr. Anil Kumar Gautam State Media In-charge lit a lamp and garlanded the picture of Tathagat Buddha and Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and after that Pujya Bhadant Aryavansh Mahasweer accepted the Trisharan Panchsheel. Chief guest Hon. Lalmani Prasad, former MP/MLA/Minister, Uttar Pradesh Government, while addressing on the Constitution Day, said that the Constitution has given the right to equality, fraternity, brotherhood and justice to all the citizens of the country. Which is basically the right to get education and employment. Even after 72 years of implementation of the Constitution, backward castes have still received 5% reservation and scheduled castes and scheduled tribes have received 8% reservation.
Chief speaker Hon. Satyajit Chandrikapure, Joint Incharge, Uttar Pradesh and National Secretary, BSI, while addressing the Constitution Day, said that no matter how good the Constitution is, if the people implementing it are not good, then the Constitution will be useless. The Constitution gives everyone the right to life. The Constitution of India is the largest constitution in the world. The Buddhist Society of India is committed to building the India of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's dreams.

Lalmani Prasad, former MP and keynote speaker - Hon'ble Dr. Satyajit Chandrika, joint in-charge and National Secretary BSI, Constitution Gaurav Samman (citation), memento, copy of Indian Constitution Pradeep Subhighya Gorakhpur, Rajeev Ranjan Prakash, E.
